HR.com, the largest social community dedicated to human resources, with 194,000 members, is proud to introduce free industry metrics and personalized company scorecards for all registered HR.com members, in partnership with OrcaEyes, the leading authority on business-workforce analytics.

HR.com and OrcaEyes leaders formed the partnership to help organizations overcome what they believe are the two major challenges with metrics and data in the human capital space. The first challenge is that people don’t have a simple way to formulate or calculate relevant metrics and then compare their results to others. And secondly, when people do have access to the formulas and data, they usually do not know how to correlate the results to underlying business objectives. With SonarVision On Demand, users upload a simple HRIS file with 5-10 fields and within 24 hours, the organization receives a 20-page report with information that enables them to better determine which talent initiatives can provide the most value to the business and identify possible problem areas needing to be addressed.

“When we saw OrcaEyes’ SonarVision On Demand product, we knew every HR professional worldwide would benefit from the metrics reported in the free version of OrcaEyes,” said Debbie McGrath, CEO of HR.com and Chair of the Institute for Human Resources Workforce Planning and Metrics Program. “The system is, fundamentally an “on-demand” workforce planning and human capital analytics solution that delivers highly sought after workforce diagnostics. There is no other system like it in the market today and we are eager to provide this tool to our members.”

OrcaEyes developed SonarVision On Demand by compiling the most insightful metrics and analytics from its award-winning SonarVision Enterprise Solution to create a business changing solution delivering powerful, actionable results quickly and effectively. The information provided in the resulting report allows users to demonstrate in real dollars and cents the value of Human Resources or Talent Management programs to leaders of other business units in the organization.

Gaining this invaluable insight from SonarVision On Demand really is as easy as 1…2….3!
    1.    Select the data you can access and the reports you’d like to receive.
    2.    Perform an export from your existing HRIS and Talent Management Systems using a simple template query. No employee identifier or other sensitive information is necessary.
    3.    Upload the data into SonarVision and wait.

“The ability to extend our on demand offering to HR.com members worldwide offers us a unique opportunity to build a truly global database of key HR metrics,” said Dan Hilbert CEO of OrcaEyes. “And the opportunity to work with Debbie and her team at HR.com, while supporting the Institute for HR Workforce Planning and Metrics Certificate program, will enable us develop a large knowledge community of talented HR professionals committed to aligning HR to driving business performance.”

As a HR.com member you will receive the SonarVision On Demand report including Business-changing information! Print the reports. Share them with your colleagues outside of HR and take action on critical workforce initiatives.

Within 24 hours of uploading your data, you will receive your report outlining personalized finance, operations, aging demographics and diversity measurements at no charge. In addition, for the first 45 days, HR.com members will also get a 20% discount off any report upgrades. More details are available from www.HRcom.SonarvisionOD.com.  OrcaEyes will be presenting at the Workforce Planning and Analytics Workshop December 1 and 2nd in San Francisco and invites you to attend the program on a complimentary pass  (valued at 1295 )  available from their website.

Social community software provider, SITEFORUM today announced that it is working with HR.com, the largest social community dedicated to human resources, with 192,000 members, and a leading provider of online events to create a new virtual event platform and universal search function.

HR.com’s new virtual event platform, called VIEW, is the only platform on the market that makes it possible to design and integrate show floors, booth templates and designs, offering users and show producers ultimate flexibility in producing virtual events, user conferences, and career fairs. Additional functionality enables exhibitors to customize their booth and receive real-time reporting. Unlike most other virtual events, the platform is built on a social networking platform, supporting integration to sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, making it easy for users to add content. “Show producers can now produce a show in minutes rather than days” says Debbie McGrath, CEO of HR.com. “It’s all about ease of use, time to market and value-add for our HR community.”

HR.com is successfully using the platform to run online human resource conferences on a variety of topics about the industry.

HR.com co-developed its virtual event platform with SITEFORUM, a high-end international SaaS provider, who provides social networking software to firms like McDonalds, Ingenico, IIR/Informa and 365greenexpo.com.

“HR.com continues to drive innovation and functionality for all social networks and sets an example that should be looked at by all publishers and associations,” says Dirk Schlenzig, CEO of SITEFORUM.

Alongside the launch of a new virtual event platform comes the launch of an enhanced and universal search function that allows users to search for articles, forums, human resources blogs, whitepapers, and all other content on the site.

Context and relevancy are a big issue for HR professionals. They need timely information and a place to communicate and share with their peers. The expanded search functionality enables users to pinpoint exactly what they are looking for, while the new points and reward engine announced previously recognizes them for their contribution to the HR community.

July 11, 2008, Aurora, Canada – Virtual Conferences offer the most value, both in terms of cost per lead and quality of leads generated, for companies looking to reach busy senior HR executives.

Since its launch in December 2007 with the “Mega Event,” HR.com’s online and virtual conference, called "VIEW". has provided education, top content, HR market intelligence, and peer networking opportunities to over 10,000 HR professionals.

The “Mega Event” attracted 77 sponsors and had a total registration of over of 4,500 people from 52 countries.

In January 2008, the regular VIEW. events began, with the focus for each on a unique, and narrowly defined, topic. These events are much smaller in scope due to their focused nature.

“The seven online conferences we have launched in 2008 have attracted over 5,000 HR Executives,” states Debbie McGrath, CEO of HR.com. “Of these, 71% came from firms with 1,000+ employees and 49% were manager level or above. Customer survey stats collected from participating HR executives indicate that these virtual events are serving a unique segment within the broad community of HR specialists: the busy senior executive from a larger company who typically wouldn’t have the time or ability to attend a traditional conference.”

“To date, the feedback we have received from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, with 99% giving VIEW. a Good or Excellent rating, and 97% saying they would attend another event. Executives tell us they like the convenience of accessing the event from their office or laptop in any location, and they really like the variety and quality of content available through the day. The ability to earn HRCI recertification credits is also an attraction.”

Today, virtual trade shows account for 1% of the market share in the event planning industry, but by the year 2015, industry experts expect that over 25% of trade shows will be conducted in virtual environments. Factors such as cost, time away from the office, and event “immediacy” are all contributing factors to this growing trend.

“The positive feedback we have received from show attendees tells us that virtual conferences are here to stay and will only become even more popular as technology improves and the concept becomes more widelyembraced by those other than the earlyadopters,” states Ms McGrath.

Sponsors are recognizing that virtual events offer:
    - Tremendous savings in travel and time
    - More qualified leads
    - Up to 10x the number of leads of a traditional trade show
    - Ongoing significant value as HR executives continue to have access to the archives after the live event has run
    - The highest value for lead generation for a targeted audience
    - Better than traditional trade show opportunities as only sponsoring vendors are allowed to participate
