Hay, What is it good for?
The Hay Guide Chart was one of the first and, for a long period of time, one of the most prevalent methods of job evaluation used by organizations. It is a point factor system that relies on three components: know-how, problem solving and accountability. > Freedom 65 - What's your Retirement Age?

At what age should one retire? Do you believe in working until way into the 70s? Or does the buck stop at age 65? The French government recently passed a controversial bill, amidst a stormy session, that will raise the retirement age from 60 to 62 by 2018. This caused more than two million workers to take to the streets protesting this proposal. Union leaders have threatened a nationwide open-ended strike if it becomes law.

    > Manager’s Guide to Business Planning - Summary

In today’s competitive marketplace, a well-planned, well-executed business plan can make the difference between success and failure. When a business has implemented a successful planning process, every employee can see a clear link between the overarching company direction and the work they perform. In the book Manager’s Guide to Business Planning, Peter J. Capezio provides businesspeople from all industries with a comprehensive review of the planning process. The book defines what must occur from preparation for the planning process through the measurement of results. Manager’s Guide to Business Planning is relevant to managers at any level who are engaged in strategic planning, business planning, or functional/departmental planning.
